Set against the majestic backdrop of Cortina and the Dolomites to the north and Venice, the most beautiful city in the world, to the south, the Conegliano Valdobbiadene Docg hills are unique and beautiful in their own right.
This land is by turns rugged and idyllic offering visitors enchanting views and delightful landscapes. The small towns and villages are home to fabulous works of art and all of this combines to open the traveller’s palate to wonderful local dishes and, of course, to Prosecco Superiore.
The production area includes 15 towns and covers an area of 20,000 hectares. The vines are grown only on the sunny south-facing sides of the hills at an altitude between 50 and 500 metres above sea level while the northern sides of the hills are, for the most part, densely wooded.
