"Gaudium Hospitis", the joy of the guest. These Latin words perfectly embody the deep, joyful company philosophy of Ca’ Salina: Hospitality. On the inside there is a palpable sense of the real and genuine, particularly in the warm welcome offered to guests by the Bortolin family who for generations have been producing Prosecco di Valdobbiadene in their own vineyards. The creation of the new tasting rooms and outside areas is evidence of the family’s joy in offering their famous hospitality, always seeking to provide the best possible experience to their guests.
Tradition & Innovation
The family guard their traditions and have a great love for the good things in life. These are the values that drive Gregorio Bortolin and his wife Neva and which they have passed on to their sons Massimo and Michele.
Innovation is therefore used in support of their ethos and as a further guarantee of the quality of Ca’ Salina products.
Respect for the local area and organic wines
Their forward-thinking spirit for innovation is perfectly in harmony with their traditions and at no time has the environment or the purity of the land been compromised. The winery itself is an example of this innate, visceral respect as it has been built inside the hillside so as to not interfere with the natural beauty of the area.
